The Hand of The LORD.

Let it be known that The LORD GOD Almighty, The GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, The Creator of the universe and all it’s inhabitants, The GOD of Moses, Daniel, Peter, John, Paul and the list goes on, that HIS Hand IS Mighty!
Throughout HIS WORD ( The Holy Bible ) it is written of all the magnificant works performed for and through HIS people. HE IS Faithful and True.
In the Book of Joshua, Chapters 1-4, The Word of The LORD came to Joshua after the death of Moses, as The LORD promises and directs Joshua in how to proceed into the Promised Land.
The last verse of Chapter 4 reads: “ That all the people of the earth might know The Hand of The LORD, that it IS Mighty, that ye might fear ( respect and reverence ) The LORD your GOD forever.”
As The LORD instructed Joshua to have the priests stand holding the arc of the covenant in the water at the edge of the Jordon river which was at flood stage, and that the water would heap up and stop for them to cross on dry ground.
I can’t help but believe that Joshua saw the Arm and Hand of GOD lay across the water to cause it to stop and heap up. I believe this is why the verse quoted above speaks that The Hand of The LORD IS Mighty that all people might know. I am a witness to this as well ,as HIS Mighty Arm reached down and saved me from an accident 42 years ago.( refer to my first blog post).
One day I will know for sure if Joshua saw GOD’S Arm that day at the Jordon river when I see and fellowship with the Saints of old. Glory to GOD!!
This same hope is to all who believe and accept Our Lord and Savior JESUS Christ as the Resurrected Son of GOD.
This is the Promise of GOD and HE IS Faithful and Mighty to those who believe and obey.
