LOVE IS

                                                                                 

It is so clearly stated in the Scriptures what LOVE IS,  it’s Character, description and qualities.  Below are a number of verses about love from the HOLY Bible:

“Herein is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us. Hereby we know that we dwell in Him and He in us: because He hath given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.And we have known and believed the love that God hath for us. God is love, and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.”   1John 4:10-16 KJ21 version

“And this is love: that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.”   2 John 1:6 KJ21 version

“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. Dear friends, these are just a few Scriptures covering Love.  Remember Love is pure, unselfish.  IT IS GOD, WHO desires to live in you, so that GOD in you can do what HE wants done.  That is to LOVE others as HE has Loved you. HIS sacrifice was done for All to come to the knowledge of JESUS CHRIST, THE LOVE poured out on the cross of Calvary for every single human being. Every sin, burden, grief, pain, addiction, hurt, bondage from Adam to eternity.

Take just a moment today and reflect on HIM. Thank HIM for WHO HE IS and for LOVING us so much.  Cast your cares upon HIM because HE cares for you.  Ask HIM to come into your heart to be the LORD of your life.  He will bring you peace and lead you from Glory to Glory. He does not expect you to get yourself right before HE accepts you.  HE came for the sick and broken, those rejected and alone.  Whatever your need, HE IS the answer.  Humble yourself before HIM and ask HIM for help.  Ask for HIS forgiveness for all your sins, HE IS Faithful and JUST to forgive and to remember those no more.  And every time we fall or fail again, ask again and HE forgives. JESUS bore it ALL for us all.
