“The So Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father.” John 10:7, 9-9, 11, 18 ESV
The Shepherd is JESUS CHRIST. These Words were spoken by HIS Own mouth to HIS disciples and those Jews that stood before HIM.
The disciples didn’t understand and many of the Jews didn’t believe.
However this summary statement that JESUS made was and IS a cornerstone to Christianity and GOD’S TRUTH to humanity.
HE created us in LOVE , giving us a free will to obey and acknowledge HIM as our Creator and friend.
HE loves us with an unfailing LOVE!! Enough to send HIS Only Begotten Son to restore us to right standing with HIM and make provision for our sin. This includes the sin of Adam all the way through the present and into our future. We have forgiveness of our sins through repentance in asking with a humble and true heart.
JESUS FREELY! gave ALL that HE could to restore humanity to HIMSELF.
The choice is now ours to make. To obey and be in right standing with GOD again or follow the deceiver, who would take pleasure in our ignorance not to!
Salvation has come! It is a free gift from Our Loving Father through JESUS CHRIST.
Please choose the road of life. It is the greatest Blessing that can ever be received. It is for you and your future generations. You are able to be called Children of the MOST HIGH GOD!
FATHER, we thank YOU for allowing YOUR SON to choose to lay HIS life down for our salvation. We thank YOU LORD JESUS for loving us so much. For giving us the HOLY SPIRIT and the WORD, that is LIFE and Power for all our days.
YOU ARE Truly a Good, Good FATHER and we thank YOU in JESUS NAME. AMEN and AMEN
