There are several Scriptures which talk about money and possessions, and I can in no way touch on all of them. It is a known fact that we require both money and possessions in this world for survival and comfort. The LORD is aware of this and in HIS WORD says that HE will provide. HE will make a way for us somehow. Where the issue comes, is in the priority that we set for these things in our lives. They should not be our hearts desire to obtain more and more at the cost of GOD, our family or others. Yes, we should plan for ourselves and family to have provision. We should work to obtain a home, nice cloths, etc. But HIS WORD is instructing us to make sure that obtaining these things does not control our heart.
” For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Mt 6:21, 24 NKJV
There is only ONE that should hold our unfailing love. Things of this world will pass away. We cannot take any riches or possessions with us.
“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.” 1Ti 6:10-11 NKJV
Do what is right. Love GOD. Love and provide for your family. Be kind and concerned about others, your community and your church. Be a lawful citizen, honest and diligent.
Will you always get it right? No, of course not. But when we fail or sin ask forgiveness of GOD and those involved. Move past it and beyond it. Don’t fall into deception from the enemy, which will get you off track. Don’t let it interfere with your walk with GOD. HE has great plans for us all and IS always with us. HIS affections are always for us, even when circumstances appear otherwise. As long as we are in this world, challenges and difficulties will occur.
But, keep your eyes lifted unto the hills and know from where your help comes. It comes from the LORD, WHO created heaven and earth. Psalm 121, verses 1,2
HE IS a Good, Good FATHER.
Thank YOU LORD JESUS.
Amen

Psalms 103:15-20
15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. 16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more 17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children; 18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. 19 The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. 20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
11 Corinthians 5: 1-8
1 For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven,
3 if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked.
4 For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life.
5 Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.
6 So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord.
7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.
8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
